Matthew R. Barton, CPA
As partner, Matt is primarily responsible for all accounting and tax activities within the firm. This includes small business & tax consulting, tax planning for individuals and other financial & strategic planning for clients.
Matt manages a diversified client base and seeks to use his good relationships with his clients and their advisors to help them achieve their financial goals.
Matt is a graduate of Campbell University, Buies Creek, North Carolina where he received his BBA in Accounting while serving in the United States Marine Corps stationed at Camp Lejeune.
Adam Benarroch, CPA
Adam Benarroch joined WBC in November 2024 and has 20+ years of experience in the tax & accounting field. Adam primarily services our small business clients and many of our individual clients. He lives in Mundelein and enjoys vacationing, pottery and reading.
Jerry Rice, CPA
Jerry has over 30 years of experience dealing with a wide range of accounting & tax situations. Jerry joined the firm in 2016 when his former partner merged with WBC and has been a great addition to the staff. He has made the merger process seamless with his extensive background and knowledge in dealing with the firm’s newest client base. Jerry lives in Chicago with his wife and young grandson.
Simona Nitu
Simona joined the firm in 2017 and brings a wide range of talents. Simona is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University where she received the High Academic Achievement certificate of recognition. Her background includes working with banking, real estate & retail clients and is an expert in QuickBooks desktop and online versions. She is fluent in Romanian and conversational in Spanish.
Frederick A. Weinberg
Fred founded Frederick A. Weinberg & Company back in 1977 and prior to that had been working for various local firms on the north shore. Fred brings over 40 years of experience to the firm and continues to be an invaluable asset and resource.
Fred is a graduate of Roosevelt University, Chicago, Illinois. He currently resides in Mundelein where he enjoys boating and motorcycling.
